Please see the chart below to help make the VA Loan process a little smoother. There are several steps you need to take when acquiring a mortgage loan. We are available through every step. Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)
DD214 Member 4, NGB22 or similar release discharge documents; and/or State of Service and/or points statement (as applicable)
Needed at the Start of the Process
Certificate of Eligibility (COE) Can be ordered by Mortgage Network, Inc.
VA Amendatory clause To be signed with Purchase & Sale Agreement (P&S) by both parties
Pest Inspection
If property needs remediation, please contact your Loan Officer; all work will need to be completed before the closing.
Not required in all states
Ordered 1-3 Days after Signed P & S Agreement Received: to be signed by both parties
Water Tests (if property has well water)
Water test must be conducted by the testing company; interested parties are not allowed to collect the samples.
Ordered 1-3 Days after signed P&S received
VA Appraisal
Must meet VA minimum requirements
Evidence of peeling/chipped paint, absence of railings, or any other structural issues with the property that may compromise the safety of the occupant may need to be addressed before closing
Ordered by Lender with fully executed P&S
